On 22/04/21 Dr Foxe visited the course to check the progress of the greens and evaluate the condition of the course generally. I would like to share his conclusions which are a credit to all the volunteers and staff.
The course at this stage is poised to develop strongly and the different elements of the management plan will achieve this. I have been very impressed with voluntary work being carried out by the members either in the office or on the golf course. This was brought home to me in a very special way when I saw that two members had volunteered to get the irrigation system up and running on all 18 greens. This personifies the meaning of a members club; congratulations to all of you for what you have done and continue to do for the benefit of your Club.
On behalf of the JCC and the greens committee I would like to add my appreciation and thanks to ALL our volunteers for their outstanding work. We have a very special club and long may that continue.
Well done to all,
